Myopia, or nearsightedness, affects increasing numbers of school-aged children. Myopia control can reduce more serious medical ophthalmic consequences of high myopia. Myopia, crossed-eyes and wandering eyes are conditions Dr. Nyong’o is expert at treating. Childhood strabismus can persist into adulthood, where adults may experience new-onset strabismus or related symptoms such as diplopia or double vision.
