Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Alan Greene serves as Chief Medical Officer of Crescendo MD in addition to his role as a practicing pediatrician and Senior Partner. His first commitment remains the care of his own patients and families; his leadership role grows directly from that work and from his belief that the best medical organizations are designed around the relationship between patients and their physicians.

Dr. Greene brings decades of experience in clinical medicine, medical leadership, innovation, and patient-centered healthcare to his role as Chief Medical Officer. Over the course of his career, he has served as Chief Medical Officer for multiple healthcare and technology organizations, including A.D.A.M., Scanadu, doc.ai, and Lifeguard Health Networks. He is also a longtime member of the medical staff at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford and an Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine.

As Crescendo’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Greene helps shape the clinical standards, medical philosophy, and innovation that support Crescendo physicians and their patients. His goal is straightforward: to help create the kind of medical practice he wants for his own patients—deeply personal, clinically excellent, thoughtful, responsive, and built around enduring relationships.
